Buildings:
A PALACE OF THE 17TH CENTURY
The castle is a 17th century fortified palace of square plant and it has three heights. Though his first references place in the year 1285, the current construction dates back of the XVII th and XVIII th century.
Hunting Lodge:
In the hunting lodge stands out its large halls with huge brick domes and its beautiful gardens that make the hunting lodge a unique and emblematic place. It has a rustic style, mainly emphasizing hunting.
Fuente Tena Pavilion:
The Fuente Tena Pavilion is divided into two halls, the Hall of the Columns which connects with a beautiful garden and the Glazed Patio with wonderful lighting that gives way to a second garden with ample green areas. It also has a greenhouse. This pavilion has an auditorium for 200 people and several classrooms.
Vegetation:
It is mostly a meadow and the grove is mainly composed of green oaks and there are also ash trees, junipers and thickets.
Water:
It is crossed by three streams (Viñuelas, La Parrilla and Valdelamasa). There are also numerous ravines of seasonal flows crossing the farm, and numerous springs.
Hunting:
It has been for many hundreds of years the favorite hunting estate of the crown so that all the Kings of the last 500 years have hunted there. In big game; Deer, buck and wild boar. It is famous for its quality of big game with exceptionally good quality of the trophies. On minor game; Pigeons and doves. Is one of the farms in Spain with higher density of pigeons.
