The estate , intended for hunting and farming, has a total área of 3.236 Ha, is located in the municipalities of Villanueva del Rey, Villaviciosa de Córdoba and Espiel (Córdoba), within the región of Valle del Guadiato, in the heart of Sierra Morena.
The estate is located in one of the largest hunting áreas with the longest tradition in The Autonomous Community of Andalusia. It´s landscape conditions are really beautiful, highlighting the ecotypes of Mediterranean forest, susch as rockrose and cork oak.
It is an elongated estate with defined boundaries, with perimeter fencing in a lenght of 50 Km with a 2 m hunting grid that borders a management enclosure of 3,445 Ha (including the leased estate La Montesina, which Anida has ceded to it´s favor in lease).
The hunting ground CO-10553 is constituted on the estate.
It´s location, approximately one hour from Córdoba´s AVE (High Speed) train station, makes it very attractive.
It has an unpaved road network, in good condition, through which you can cross and Access any point of the estate.
From the landscape and forestry point of view, it has a great diversity of good quality biotypes that shelter numerous game species, which is the main asset of the estate. In addition, Mount Posteruelos has approved a Technical Management Plan.
The fauna diversity on the estate is one of it´s main assets, and the reason why the estate is one of the most important game farms in Andalucia.
The estate water resources must also be highlighted. The property has numerous points of wáter distributed over the whole surfae of the same (ponds, reservoirs and water fountains).
The estate has an undulating relief, with moderate-high slopes, which becomes more pronounced close to the streams. The estate borders with the Manzano River.
The estate is distributed in numerous biotopes:
- Meadow of holm oak: 1,070 Ha.
- Mediterranean mountain, formed by rockroses, mastics and high mountain or oaks, cork oaks and strawberry tres: 1,245 Ha.
- Mount of pine and black pine: 965 Ha.
The species present in the estate are:
- Big game: Wiid boar, deer, mouflon and fallow deer.
- Small game: Partridge, hare, rabbit and Wood pigeon.
The farm has 17 feeders for the breeder and 27 feeders for the boar. In addition, there are 3 catchers for game fauna.
The estate is crossed from northeast to southwest by serveral streams; Fresnedosillos Stream, Zurrianco Stream, Névalo Stream and Alcornocal Stream. In the estate, there are 27 wáter points, marshes of médium capacity and dimensions, and automatic drinking troughs that serve to provide wáter to wildlife during the summer drought season.
Buildings of the estate:
The property is endowed, throughout it´s extensión, with several buildings destined as much for housing, as for agricultural and livestock uses.
It is worth mentioning the building located at the site called “Puerto Rosal”, where the main complex is located, which are in perfect state of use and conservation.
In the rest of the estate, there are also several buildings destined for both housing and own use of the property, some of them, currently, in disuse and/or abandones.
Unlike the buildings located at the”Puerto Rosal” site, these buildings lack records, lacking the ownership of documentation and information regarding their urban, construction, seniority or licenses, assuming future purchasers, in their if and at their expense, all the procedures and actions neccesary for the purpose of legalizing and, where appropiate, rehabilitating those buildings to be usedd for their porper use.
